More and more it seems like video games need charts to figure out how complex they are. Not on how to play them mind you, but to even understand what we’re buying. A sea of definitive versions at multiple locations with each having its own exclusive content and pre-order bonus. Season Passes that don’t include everything in a season and now downloadable content for the downloadable content we already purchased and not the game itself. DLC that isn’t even released in its entirety at purchase, but rather drip fed over months. Are we even certain we bought it? How do we access it?
Yeah you guessed it. We’re sharing some thoughts on Destiny 2 Forsaken in this one, and complaining about all the money being made off our confusion. That and our deepest fears and experiences with going to therapy. Should be a good time filled with spoilers. Thanks for listening!
Hello, this is a post that I did not have time to write, therefore it is very brief, but you will not read it anyway, so no one will notice. I love you. You voted and the majority clearly stated that they like new stuff, and we shouldn’t release another sketch one so soon. So we drew new county lines and electoral college’d up a brand new episode of what served our needs best. Remember, you have a voice when it comes to listening to ours. Thanks for the support and we’ll see you next time!
What’s up, homeskillets?
We’re bad at planning, and didn’t record a new episode, so here’s the next volume of Just the Sketches, and there’s some good stuff in here. Well, it makes me laugh, anyway. Enjoy!
It’s another exciting podcast adventure brought to you by A Trouble with Words. In this one we talk about a show that’s about people talking. Pretty highbrow right? You’re welcome.
In many ways though this is just an excuse to kind of break down our thoughts on comedy, and how we both hope to never reach Jerry Seinfeld levels of A-hole. You know, when we’re super famous in a few years and everyone says we are amazing and clever and handsome and all that. We don’t want to become convinced we’re God’s gift to funny even if it’s true. You get what I’m saying.
Anyway, thanks for listening and we’ll see you next time!
What’s up, friends?
Thanks for checking in on another episode of everyone’s 7th favorite podcast, A Trouble with Words. We know we’re not your #1, and that’s alright.
In this episode, we’re taking a look at the webseries Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, hosted by Jerry Seinfeld, some of which is now available on Netflix. We’re both big fans of comedy, so I’m excited to chat with Josh about the show, about Jerry, and about comedy I’m general.
I think it came out pretty well, so give it a listen!
A Happy Podcastober to all of you! Such an exciting time of year filled with horror movies and fun for all! If you’re a regular listener you’re probably already familiar with this odd but fun tradition, and if you’re new to the show then you also have a lot to be excited about. This is without a doubt my favorite episode that we put out. I just love the whole thing.
So what is it? Well we both pick a weird campy non-traditional horror movie and then we watch them back to back together. The episode is us breaking them down for you in great detail. You’re welcome.
Seriously though it’s great and you should tell your friends about it.
It’s spooky time here at A Trouble with Words! Podcastober has arrived, just like it does every year, and we’re ready to chinwag about a couple of scary (this is a stretch, even for me, the scarediest of cats) movies! It’s a fun time and one of my favorite ATWW traditions! Enjoy
Despite what Justin might say this is not our last episode. We will never stop. Much like in the show Altered Carbon we will find a way to live forever. Even after our bodies have given in to obesity and old age we will continue on. Creating constantly for you is our only concern.
Speaking of Altered Carbon we talk about it in this episode. What a weird coincidence.
See you next time for Podcastober!
Hello from the other side!
We’re back, and we’re in just under the deadline!
We’re so frickin good at this.
This episode we have a friendly chat about the Netflix Original Series, Altered Carbon.
If you haven’t seen it, ya should. But good news! We’re spoiler free on this one! Mostly. Like, 99% spoiler free. I think you’ll be fine with it.
Anyway, next ep: Podcastober!
